Design
Our designers and engineers have extensive greenfield and brownfield system design experience. For new developments, we collaborate with architects, facilities managers and builders to create designs for metering and hot water services that optimise space utilisation and ease of access.
For the built environment, our design service will start with an audit of the current state after which we will collaborate with the customer to design metering and hot water systems that meet the customer’s specific objectives.
COMMISSION
SBS views commissioning as probably the most important process in the delivery of any metering system.
Equipment commissioning is the process of ensuring that all systems and components of a metering and hot water system are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner and tenants. A commissioning process may be applied not only to new projects but also to existing units and systems subject to expansion, renovation or revamping.
The SBS national services team will carry out site-based or remote commissioning depending on the nature of the system and requirements.
OPERATE
SBS’s metering and hot water systems are many and varied, and our project managers deliver these services across the country.
Day-to-day operations and management support of metering infrastructure is provided by our national field services team, supported by dedicated technical subject matter experts. Our specialist electricians and technicians and subcontractor base work to provide our clients with a streamlined end-to-end capability. Maintenance is carried out remotely or on-site depending on the nature of the fault.
MAINTAIN
We understand the importance of asset reliability and we deliver programs centred around planned and preventative maintenance.
Where the engagement covers these services, we develop and manage:
- preventative maintenance (scheduled) activities – ensuring your assets and activities operate to expected standards
- life cycle management – strategic plans to replace assets at end of maximised lifespan
- corrective maintenance – replacement of assets in a timely and cost-effective manner
- emergency site response and services support.
